The Innovatech Team

James Harker

Chief Innovation Officer

James Harker is the Chief Innovation Officer at BZI Steel. He was one of the company’s first five employees when it was founded in 2006 as a farmhand erecting pole barns and pre-engineered buildings in Southern Utah and Eastern Nevada. BZI’s success enabled James to become a foreman and then a manager leading all aspects of process development, including creating logistics and maintenance programs. He has also played a pivotal role in developing BZI’s presence in different markets and industries, including working with some of the world’s foremost retailers to build their warehouses.

Alvin Harker

Project Manager

Alvin Harker has been a team member at BZI and Innovatech since 2014. In that time, Alvin has been instrumental in the development of several key equipment initiatives at Innovatech, helping to lead collaborative efforts across research and development, engineering, and field teams. He has overseen production of the MezzMaster, Panel Table, WallMaster, SkyLife, SkyBrace, and Beam Champ. Alvin looks forward to continued team efforts in designing, building and testing some of the most revolutionary products the construction industry has ever seen.

Worth Bistline

Engineering Manager

Worth Bistline started with Innovatech in January 2021 as an electrical engineer/programmer. He was responsible for creating the program for the RTV-400 and played a vital role in developing the Wallmaster clamp system, as well as other projects like the personal fall arrest system. As an Assistant Manager of the automation department he oversaw the engineering of the operator controls for the Trackzilla, the Megajacks hydraulic system of the IMP system, and the Gantry electrical and safety systems of the IMP system. Now as the Engineering Manager, Worth provides leadership in the engineering and final assembly of all of Innovatech’s ongoing projects.

Steve Holm

Production Manager

Steve Holm has been a part of fabricating every Innovatech project until the end of 2021, at which time he was promoted to Production and Mechanical Design Manager. His efforts have contributed to everything from SkyBrace, to MezzMaster, to the WallMaster IMP system. He has also built numerous Panel Tables, RTVs, and the InnovAlign. “Over the years I have had the opportunity to work with an incredible team. Together, we have been able to bring to reality many peoples’ dreams of equipment that makes construction sites substantially safer and more efficient. It is my privilege to work with the best team on earth.”

Spencer Douglas

Sales & Leasing Manager

Spencer Douglas leads all strategic marketing and sales efforts for Innovatech. He brings more than 15 years of sales and business management, including manufacturing, distribution, and accounting disciplines. Before Innovatech, Spencer held leadership positions at Renaissance Ag, Staheli West, Inc., Hinton Burdick CPAs & Advisors, and Phil Lyman CPA. He is an active member of Rotary International and has served on several local non-profit advisory boards. Spencer holds a Master’s Degree in Accountancy and a B.S. in Accounting from Southern Utah University.
